HOME AND HERITAGE: LOCAL NEWS AND VIEWS

Delgany Heritage Village

Delgany is a peaceful village with a rich history. It is located between the beautiful Wicklow mountains and the Irish sea. Just a 40 minute drive from Dublin city and a 5 minute drive to the DART rail station, it is well connected. The village of Delgany could be described as the last bit of countryside before the vast expanse of Dublin city and surrounding urban areas. W

ith its own castle, monastery, church, multiple forests, trails and a wealth of unique destination businesses, this tranquil village is a great place to be able to call home.

The Delgany community is represented by the volunteer-led Delgany Community Council and the Delgany Tidy Towns which you can find out more about here. We also feature amazing destination businesses which you can learn more about on our Local Biz tab.
