CONVENT ROAD PART 8 for Delgany Village
No, this is not a typo, the Convent Road Active Travel Scheme - a Work in Progress for well over a decade through different iterations - is now being published as part of the Part 8 Planning Regulations for Public Feedback! The full publication is at the link HERE and DCC is hosting an OPEN HOUSE event to explain the Part 8 including the inspiration, consultation, and resulting plan that looks to bring Delgany Heritage Village the opportunity to support safety, residents, businesses and develop a pedestrian priority environment for our village. Please Join us March 10th at 7:30PM, presentation will begin at 8pm by members of DCC who were part of the design process, as we look to answer questions and gather your input. We will also have maps of our Public Realm plan published in 2023, and members of the committee in force to record your comments. For those looking to make a direct submission, that opportunity is also available on the WCC portal. We look forward to seeing you on March 10th!
